Bavaria International Aircraft Leasing announced the lease extension of three (3) Boeing 717-200 aircraft currently on lease to Impulse Airlines, a wholly-owned  subsidiary of Qantas Airways. 

The leases for the three Boeing 717-200 aircraft (msn 55054, 55055 and 55057) have been extended with Qantas Airways for three years, through 2008. Impulse Airlines was acquired by Qantas Airways in May 2001, after an institutional investor withdrew support and Quantas stepped forward to provide necessary working capital.

Today, Impulse Airlines provides scheduled services with its fourteen Boeing 717-200, on behalf of Qantas Airways, under the brand name “Qantas Link”.
