The company is owned by the Portuguese Pestana Group, that primarily expands in hotels and resorts in Portugal, Brazil and Africa. The company began services in 1997 as Air Madeira and operates under the new brand today a mixed fleet of Boeing 737-300 and -400 as well a a Lockheed L1011 aircraft and mainly provides charter service for leading European tour operators. |
